Website launch

It's been almost 4 years since Alder Spring, a local bottled water company, based in Widnes, took steps to revamp and relaunch their brand. They created a stunning brand, but their website, expensive to run and maintain, wasn't inspiring visitors to contact them.

Through a workshop, MyDigitalMedia identified the key aims of the website, looked at the use of the brand that is so well established offline, and the structure of the existing 50+ page brochure website.

Providing professional photography of the offline brand, making it much more prominent in the site, reducing the number of pages to just 6 - 7 containing a clear concise message and providing copy writing services, the new website has been launched.

Not only is the new website getting a much more positive reaction from its visitors, but it's also costing less to maintain. Built using Kentico CMS, Alder Spring can now maintain the website's content themselves with the ease of use of Microsoft Word, whilst the brand remains consistent.

A complete rewrite, check the website out for yourself:

Infrastructure upgrade...
As part of an ongoing review of the services that we provide, MyDigitalMedia this week invested heavily in the upgrade of the infrastructure used to host our customer's website and e-mail.

Depending on where in our existing infrastructure our customer's website may be, existing customers will benefit from between 5x and 20x more memory, 3x and 6x more processing power and faster storage, to ensure that their websites load much faster than they do today.

MyDigitalMedia goes limited
We're pleased to announce that MyDigitalMedia has today become a Limited company. What does this mean for our customers? Well it doesn't mean a lot in the way that we work with, and treat our customers, but as you'll have seen in some of our other recent news, we've recently added more people to the team here and this change is to allow us to more effectively manage the way that we operate, and allowing us to better manage the future growth of our business.

New customer service manager appointed
This week Danielle joins the team at MyDigitalMedia to build up the customer facing side of our business.
