Remote Assistance

This page allows MyDigitalMedia staff to provide on-demand support to our customers, even when the team are out of the office.

This process will not install any software on your computer, but does require software to be downloaded and run with administration privileges.

One of our team will guide you through these easy steps to allow them temporary, remote access to your computer, however the steps required have also been included below for your own benefit and understanding.

To begin a remote assistance session, first click the button below:

Once you have clicked on the button above you will be prompted to save/run a file.

Depending on which operating system and web browser you are running, you may see something similar to the following pop-up. Although there is no harm in clicking 'Save', we recommend clicking 'Run'.

After clicking 'Run' you will be prompted as to whether or not you want to allow the program to make changes to your computer. It is essential for the team to be able to assist you that you select 'Yes' when prompted.

The main application window will appear shortly thereafter. If you are prompted to allow this program through the firewall,  is a requirement that you click the appropriate 'Allow' option for your firewall, otherwise the TeamViewer application wouldn't work.

Once the Team Viewer application has launched, you will need to tell our team 'Your ID' and 'Password', both of which will change with every meeting to allow us to connect. These should appear in the window as shown below:
